Yes soil erosion affect the soil by redusing the soil fertility and eroding the layers of soil.

soil erosion is the washing or blowing away of the top soil due to water or strong winds. 
the top soil contains the macro nutrients and the important components required by the plant, and if top soil is is washed away the important nutrients required by the plant also blow away which is a major reason for soil infertility.
hence, soil erosion affects the fertility of soil.
