1. we eat food by taking small bites and putting them in our mouth

2. Then we chew it slowly crushing the bite enough so it can easily go through the oesophagus

3. Then the food slowly passes through the oesophagus and moves into the intestines

4. The food's nutrients are then digested by the intestines and the food goes on ahead

5. Then the salt and nutrients are re-digested in some part of the excretion system

6. Finally the food is excreted through the anus

Thus, the food that passes out the anus is lesser than what we eat!
