NO, the concept of apparent sunset doesn't affect the time duration of 24 hours.
◆Due to atmospheric REFRACTION, the sun is seen set only TWO minutes after actual sunset.
◆Also, in sunrise, sun is seen only two minutes after actual sunrise due to REFRACTION. The difference of time of actual and apparent sunset and sunrise is 2 minutes.
◆Day is of 24 hours 7.9 seconds, that is ,86, 400 seconds, time for rotation of Earth around its axis.
◆Apparent sunset and sunrise doesn't affect earths 24 hour pattern as both sunrise and sunset has this delay which is compensated.
