does the force of friction also acts on the object moving in the air

YES THE FORCE OF FRICTION ALSO ACTS ON THE OBJECT MOVING IN AIR
because any moving object possess is forced to move forward simultaneously the against force ( force of friction ) is also applied on the object in this condition air and the particles of air appear as of friction force against that object

hey, friend here is your answer !!!

when any object moving in air it passes through atmosphere and the atmosphere is denser a little and when the air ora any dust particles rubbed with object while moving and produces frictional force .

but frictional force don't happen in vaccum . cause there is no atmosphere no any obstacle .
