Does the gravitational force depend on the medium between the objects? Why?

Gravitation is caused by the distortion of space and the medium has no influence, except to add mass and so cause its own effect on gravity. Gravitation is a force which always adds up. If you have more masses, or more medium, it will just add up to more mass in your physics problem.
