Does the movement of particles in the solid remain the same when they are subjected to heat If not. why?​

Answer:

No the movement of particles does not remain the same when they are subjected to heat because when we supply heat to solid the particles of solid stars vibrating and due to huge vibrations the kinetic energy increase and they try to overcome the intermolecular forces of attraction and if we continuously supply heat then it overcomes it intermolecular forces of attraction and changes its state of matter from solid to liquid .
