She wasshort, fat and slightly bent. Her face was a full of wrinkles . Narrator maintains that she was beautiful because she was kind, warm, loving, attentive and caring. The author's grandmother was strong woman in character and was very religious too.

Yes, the title justifies the personality and character sketch of the author's grandmother. There are several reasons behind this.

When one thinks of a 'lady', qualities like high moral standards, piousness and kindness come to the mind.  The author's grandmother possessed all these qualities and even more, because even the sparrows mourned her passing away.

Though the grandmother was old and bent over, there was a time when she was young and beautiful. That too fits the idea of a lady. Even in her old age, the author thought she was 'beautiful' because of the serenity on her face, which he compared to the beautiful winter landscape.

Furthermore, the manner in which the author has used words to describe his grandmother is so effective that the reader can almost visualise the grandmother. So, the text is more of a visual treat, like a painter portrait rather than a written description.

All these reasons suggest that the title is an appropriate one.
