Explanation:
In one of my experiments I noticed that the refractive index of the medium increases near an object. If and only if I did the experiment correctly, then it predicts respectfully that the refractive index of vacuum (as a medium) near a star with massive gravity is much more than the refractive index of vacuum near the earth.

Explanation:
The speed of light is determined by the medium (material) through which the light is travelling. Light travels faster in a vacuum than it does in any other medium. Light changes speed as it passes from one medium to another. This is called refraction.
