Answer:

Slime molds move, and lack chitin in theircell walls. They are now classified as belonging to the Kingdom Protista (Protoctista). Mycologists have studied them for so long that slime molds are still included in mycology textbooks. Physarum polycephalum is a plasmodialslime mold.

Answer:

no true cell wall does not imply a cellulose Excel wall as in case of sports of slime mould or in the cell or made up of chitin they also help to maintain the rigidity of cell and protect it from external environment. it also protect the cell from the the processes like plasmolysis and deplasmolysis therefore they can also be called as true cell wall still they are not made up of cellulose.

many many bacteria fungi and viruses have a cell wall made up of different substances like slime chitin but plant cell only have a cell wall made up of cellulose.

Slime molds move, and lack chitin in theircell walls. They are now classified as belonging to the Kingdom Protista (Protoctista). Mycologists have studied them for so long that slime molds are still included in mycology textbooks. Physarum polycephalum is a plasmodialslime mold.
