Question: Is Umbrakinesis an actual practice or a hoax.

Hi, so I’ve recently grown interested in the study of the occult and magic. A friend advised to find one specific practice and stick to it. So I did, and I was drawn to Shadow Magic. So far my research and the help of many helpful people here leads me to research Shadow Work.

However I’ve come to learn about Umbrakinesis, or the ability to control shadows with your mind. I’m fairly open to the possibility of really anything. However, is this an actual practice or is this just another internet hoax.
