No because uniform motion has only magnitude(scalar quantity) where as velocity has both magnitude and direction(vector quantity) so it can not be the same.

Velocity is defined as a Uniform Velocity is term used to express a constant rate of change of distance per unit time. i.e. when your velocity is constant, we simply say ‘you are moving at uniform velocity’.
