It does not depends
It only depends on the height of the object taken from its initial position
If a blog is kept upstairs anthen next blog is kept by another path on the same place then the work done will be same

no work done by gravity does not depend on path. it depends upon the height at which the object placed. it's non conservative force which does not depend on path.
