As a result, the amount of current decreases and the device becomes hot. ◾if one component in a series circuit fails due to any reason, then all the components in the circuit fail because the circuit has been broken.

→In series circuit, the appliances do not get the same voltage as that of the power supply line.

→In the series connection of electrical appliance, the overall resistance of the circuit increases too much due to which the current from the power supply is low.
