CONSERVE FUEL, SHAPE THE FUTURE

Fuel is a substance which is used to produce heat energy through chemical reaction. There is no machine which can works without it today. All are depend on this to run anything from a small home to a large industries. Even from a small screw to a big generator there is a need of it. But today, our India is facing a severe fuel crisis.
In our day to day life, it became basic need of us. Due to it's lack, most countries have to import fuel to meet their needs by spending high amount today. We can say this by seeing the nearest petrol bunks. If we saw them, we can find  long queues of vehicles because there was no fuel to tank up on. It's our time to face the problem of fuel need.
How panic it is? What about our future generations? Their life conditions might be so difficult without these fuel. They have to work hard to do even a small work also. They have to suffer a lot. If it continues like this, there will be no industries which are going to be run in future. Such that we can't get any material even a small thing also because the things which we are using most today like plastic, paraffin wax, computers, cars, pharmaceuticals, etc are getting from the industries only on which fuel is the basic need to get all these.
Fuels like petrol and diesel are also not clean fuels. They cause pollution and increase Carbon dioxide emissions. So we have to stop using fuel highly which is responsible for causing Global Warming.
It's really makes our life tough if we still continue the usage of fuel in large amounts. In order to avoid this, We have to bring awareness on people. We have to turn of our vehicles at traffic. We have to encourage car pooling and have to minimise the usage of applying brakes. We have to use hybrid cars which run both on gas and electricity. Electric cars like the Indian Reva are good choices. Under-inflated tires reduce fuel efficiency. Travelling the least distances by walk or using bicycle is good for health and helps for fuel conservation too. So, Save Fuel, Save Future.

Don't  Be  Cruel -  Save  Fuel

Fuel is coal, oil, gas, wood or some organic matter that gives heat energy on combustion.  Burning of fuel in air is combustion.  Fossil fuels are the natural resources : coal, oil (petroleum), gas that form under Earth's surface from dead plants, organisms, and animals.  Fossil fuels are formed over a long duration naturally.  Synthetic fuels are made from existing chemicals using special processes.  But, they are not economical yet.  Certain sources like Solar energy and atomic energy are not yet serving the needs of the world.  So there is a need to save fossil fuels.

Reasons for Conservation and saving:

Conventional Fuels are limited, exhaustible and non-renewable resources on Earth.  Even the fuels we manufacture are made from natural resources and use electricity to make them.  Current is produced using fossil fuels.  Inefficient burning fuels causes pollution and global warming issues.  Natural reserves are depleted earlier.  It takes a long time for the fossil fuels like thousands of years to form fuels in a slow natural process.  Further, the eco-system balance is undone.  Future generations face fuel shortage.

The government spends substantial tax money in subsidies over fuel.  Fuel saved is money saved.  It is as much as thousands of crores.  Due to pollution our air and water bodies become unhygienic.  Our health is indirectly affected.  Ozone layer is perforated due to CFC (chlorofluoro Carbons).  So Less fuel burnt enables Ozone layer to protect us better.

Moreover, we import fuels.  We pay foreign currency to get it.  Fuels make India and Indian economy dependent on other countries.  That is not desirable at all.  Save fuel and energy as a compulsory obligation to our society.  It is our responsibility as a citizen.  Population is growing and more and more people are having purchase power to buy vehicles and appliances that use fuels directly or indirectly.  So the fuels are depleting faster than envisaged a decade ago.

Having a financial status to spend as much fuel as wanted, should not be the attitude.  It should be a single aim to help the nation and help oneself in letting our future generations to use fuels.

Wasting fuel is being cruel and indifferent towards a development-seeking Indian economy and its public. So I say and plead all "Don't be Cruel and Save Fuel."

There are many methods to save energy.  We turn off gadgets and appliances when not in use. We switch off engines of vehicles at traffic junctions. We use the public transit system. We use latest equipments of higher efficiency.  We use LED lighting.  We use solar, wind, geothermal, hydro, biomass energies more and reduce conventional fuels.

You know our children and their descendents have a right to inherit the planet as clean as it is now or better than that.  Where there is a will, there is a way, right?  If not for me, for India, for your children, and their children in future, Save Fuel and Prove You are not Cruel.
