Answer:

Explanation:

Twinkling of star

In actual way the stars doesn't twinkle

Light emitted by the stars passes through the atmosphere of earth . Stars act as point sources of light. Earth's atmosphere consist of many layers of different densities, when the light moves towards the surface of earth . It has to pass the denser layers.

When it passes from one layer to another layer it gradually bends towards the normal and the process goes on till the light reached the observers eye .

So due to atmospheric refraction the apparent position of stars ses to be different from the actual position .

As the different light rays passes through

The atmosphere they pass sometimes more refraction.

Therefore position of stars also continuosly changes and stars seem to twinkle.
