As, the length is given 50 m and the distance between two consecutive poles is 2m.

So, A.T.Q

If we will erect a total of 24 poles between the distance of 50 m if the distance between two consecutive poles is 2 m, but we can also erect the pole at the starting and ending means, we can also erect poles on 0 m and 50 m (2 poles) and between 0 m to 50 m ( 24 poles)

\sf{\implies Number \ of \ poles \ erected = 24 + 2} \\ \sf{\implies Number \ of \ poles \ erected = 26}
