Why does Anne need to give a brief sketch about her family? Does she treat "kitty" as an insider or an outsider.

Anne's says that none will understand a words of her story in case she starts writing directly in kitty (her diary) since, she is our friend in the shape in here dairy. She is a non-living (diary) organisms. So, she gives a brief description of her family. Anne does not think her diary has Anne outsider she is Anne insider to her.
