Question tag means short question after the sentence.

we can make Question tag of the given sentence in a following way-

Don't open the door, will you?

To make question tag we use helping verb which is given in sentence. If helping verb is not there in sentence then we use do,does, did according to the subject and tense of sentence.

• Question tag of a positive sentence is negative and vice versa. Above question is of imperative sentence.

• To do question tag of positive imperative sentence we use will you or won't you.
• If sentence is negative then we use only will you to make question tag.
