A) ●Acute disease: it occurs suddenly and lasts for a shorter time period.

Example- Common cold,flu,pneumonia etc

Chronic disease : it occurs sudden and last for a longer time.It is fatal.

Ex- Cancer, heart disease, diabetes etc

(B)

Congenital disease: the disease that is present from the time of birth.

Ex- genetic disease ( gene defect) Sickle cell anemia,down syndrome etc

Acquired disease:the disease which we aquire during the life time.

Example-malaria, dengue, flu , cancer etc

(C)

Infectious disease:the disease which is caused by pathogenslike virus,bacteria,fungi etc.It can easily transmit from one person to other.

Example- flu, common cold,aids etc

Non Infectious disease: the disease which are not caused by pathogen and cannot be transmitted from one person to other.

Example - Cancer,asthma
