Question :-

Find rhe missing number

4 + 3 = 7

6 + 4 = 20

7 + 2 = 45

9 + 7 = 32

then 3 + 1 = ?

\large\underline{\sf{Solution-}}

Given that,

\rm \: 4 + 3 = 7 \: can \: be \: expressed \: as \: \\ \rm \: (4 + 3) \times (4 - 3) =7 \times 1 = 7 \\

Now,

\rm \: 6 + 4 = 20 \: can \: be \: expressed \: as \: \\ \rm \: (6 + 4) \times (6 - 4) =10 \times 2 = 20 \\

Also,

\rm \: 7 + 2 = 45 \: can \: be \: expressed \: as \: \\ \rm \: (7 + 2) \times (7 - 2) =9 \times 5 = 45 \\

Also,

\rm \: 9 + 7 = 16 \: can \: be \: expressed \: as \: \\ \rm \: (9 + 7) \times (9- 7) =16 \times 2 = 32 \\

So, it means we get a pattern

\rm \: a + b = (a + b) \times (a - b) \\

Hence,

\rm \: 3 + 1 = (3 + 1) \times (3 - 1) = 4 \times 2 = 8 \\

Thus,

\rm\implies \: \: \boxed{ \rm{ \: \: 3 + 1 = 8 \: \: }} \\
