Explanation:

Given :-

Mixture = 60 g

Temperature of water = 40⁰ C

To Find :-

Final temperature

Solution :-

According to the question

let the final temperature be x

60g × s × (80 - x) = 60g × s × (x - 40)

s × (80 - x) = s × (x - 40)

80 - x = x - 40

80 + 40 = x + x

120 = x + x

120 = 2x

x = 120/2

x = 60

Hence,

Final temperature is 60⁰ C
