Answer:

i)24cm^2

ii) ₹192

Step-by-step explanation:

i)  For getting the area of the rectangle, we need to find its length and its breadth.

Taking the length as CD, we need to find the distance of CD.

CD=       \sqrt[2]{(8-2)^2+(6-6)^2} \\

CD          \sqrt[2]{(6)^2+(0)^2} \\=\sqrt{(6)^2} \\=6cm

Now, taking AD as the breadth, we need to find the distance of AD.

AD=

AD=  \sqrt[2]{(2-2)^2+(6-2)^2} \\\sqrt[0]{(0)^2+(4)^2}  \\\sqrt[2]{(4)^2\\} \\4cm

         Area  =               l*b\\=6*4\\=24 cm^2

ii)  now, it costs ₹8 per cm^2.

The cost of the board= ₹8*24

                                   = ₹192

Mark as the brainliest :D
