Explanation:
Once there was a young man who had gone to a new city in search of a better job and better pay than the previous one he was employed at. he did not know anyone but was confident of making it in the big world, and proving to his family that he is capable of doing things on his own and staying independent.
On the day of his interview, he had noted down the address and had prepared himself for the whole process, confident and happy that he was on time, even a bit early. But planning to make a good impression on the company with his punctuality, he decided to take a cab instead of travel by the metro. He got into the cab, and was well into his destination.
On reaching the place, he met anther young man who seemed to be a worker in the office. He approached him and asked where he could fine a certain Mrs..... who was to take his interview. The young man said that that lady is on emergency leave and he is the one who will be conducting the interview. Taking him into an empty office room that looked like a conference room, he began asking questions and looked at his resume. Then, after an hour or so, he told him that he had been the best candidate they had got but in order for him to make sure that the job is his, he asked him to give him his original documents so that he will photocopy them on the spot and offer him the job. Thanking his lucky stars, the young man gave him his whole file, and waited for him to come back with the papers.
But after half an hour, when he did not turn up, he went to the frnt desk to inquire about the man and his job. The lady at the desk asked him about the details and of the events of the past hour. When she told him that the meeting with Mrs..... was on schedule and that no other person had been assigned the interview, he realized his mistake and had to return home, dejected without a job or even his documents.
Moral of the story- Never trust someone so blindly.
