Step-by-step explanation:

Let Chris have x dollars

Donna has x+7 dollars

Austin has 3(x+7) dollars

According to the question,

x+x+7+3(x+7)=93

2x+7+3x+21=93

5x+28=93

5x=93-28

5x=65

x=13

Chris has 13 dollars

Donna has 13+7=20 dollars

Austin has 3*20=60 dollars

QUESTION :-

Donna, Chris, and Austin have a total of €93 in their wallets. Donna has €7 more than Chris. Austin has 3 times what Donna has. How much do they have in their wallets?

SOLUTION:-

\rightarrowLet the amount in Chris’s wallet be €x

\rightarrowDonna has 7 more than Chrish's wallet = €(x + 7)

\rightarrowAustin has 3 times than Donna's wallet = €3(x + 7)

According to the problem, Donna, chris, and Austin have a total of €93 in their wallets.

Therefore,

\rightarrow\red{x + (x + 7) + 3(x + 7) = 93}

\rightarrow \green{x + x + 7 + 3x + 21 = 93}

\pink{ 5x \:\cancel{+ 28 }= 93}

\blue{\cancel{\:\:\:- 28} \: -28 }

____________

\purple{  5x        = 65}

\orange{ 5x/5 = 65/5 } \blue{ (divide \: by \: both \: by \:5)}

\red{\underline{\boxed{\boxed{x = 13}}}}

\rightarrow Amount in Chris wallet = €x =13

\rightarrow Amount in Donna's wallet = €(x + 7) = €(13 + 7) = 20

\rightarrow Amount in Austin 's wallet = €3(x + 7) = €3(13 + 7) = €3(20) = 60

ANSWER :-

1) Amount in Chris’s wallet: 13

2) Amount in Donna's wallet: 20

3) Amount in Austin's wallet: 60
