6. Why govt schools are not allowed to celebrate religious festivals?

It is just because a school contains many students of different religions, culture and tradition. If they conduct any festival, it may affect the feelings of other religious/cultural people. So, to avoid this phenomenon and to develop a bond among students, government schools are not allowed to celebrate religious festivals.

7. Why is it important to seperate religion from state?

It is because of many quintessential purposes which are dealt internally
