Dont Copy Paste For a CE-transistor amplifier, the audio signal voltage across the collector resistance

of 2 kΩ is 2 V. Given the current amplification factor of the transistor is 100, find the

input signal voltage and base current, if the base resistance is 1 kΩ.

Hey !!

Given, Rc = 2 kΩ = 2 × 10³  Ω

     Rb = 1 kΩ

      V₀ = 2V

Input voltage (Vi) = ?

     β = Ic / Ib = 100

 V₀ = IcRc = 2 V

Ic = 2 / Rc = 2 / 2 × 10³ Ω = 10⁻³ A = 1 mA

Base current

         Ib = Ic / β

= 10⁻³ / 100

          = 10 × 10⁻⁶ A = 10 μA

Base resistance

         Rb = Vbb / Ib

   Input voltage,

                        Vi = Rb / Ib

= 1 × 10³ × 10 × 10⁻⁶

         = 0.01 V

Good luck !!
