Explanation:

Mass of the car (m)=1000kg

initial velocity of the car (u)=30m/s

final...... (v)=0m/s

distance covered (s)=50m

firstly, we try to find force applied by brakes. but we don't have the acceleration produced. so we use laws of motion

V sq - u sq = 2as

zero squared -30 square is = 2a(50)

-900 =100a

-900 upon 100 =a

a= - 9m/s sq

Now, we find out the force applied by the brakes.

force= mass into acceleration

f equals to ma

f equals to 1000 into -9

F = -9000N

....................................

Now we find the, work done by brakes.

work done = force × distance

W = - 9000 into 50

W = - 40000J

w=-450kj....

Hope it helps u out...

Explanation:

Mass of car =1000kg

Initial velocity =30 m per hrs.

Final velocity =0

Distance travelled=50m

According to l

Equation of motion

 {v }^{2}  +  {u}^{2}  = 2as

-900=100a

A=-9m per second

Force = mass into acceleration

Force is Equal to. Ma

Therefore

F= 1000 into - 9

F= - 9000N
