Dorji has a few bottles of soft drink in his restaurant.but unfortunately these are not labeled.he has to serve the drinks on the demand of customers.one customer wants acidic drink another wants basic drink and third wants neutral drink.how will dorji decide which drink is served to whom

Dorji can taste a bit of the drinks since no pH paper is available at that time.

Acidic drink tastes sour.

Basic drink tastes bitter.

Neutral drink is tasteless.

He could take sample from each drink and react it with methyl orange solution.Is the drink is nuteral the colour of methyl orange will remain orange.If the drink is acidic the colour of the Sol. Will become pink.Simulaly for base it will turn to yellow colour.
