Answer:

Kaikayi, the beloved queen of King Dashratha once she had accompanied him to a war against a demon. During the war, when Dashratha was supposed to get injured badly, she drove his chariot out of the battleground, nursed him and got him back to fight the war.

Some other versions say that during the war, the axle of the chariot’s wheel broke and lest the chariot breaks down and bring Dasaratha on the ground; she is supposed to have used her finger for the axle till the battle was over.

King Dasaratha was very impressed by her heroism and granted her two boons, which she preserved for a better day.

And Kaikayi being an opportunistic asked King Dashratha to fulfill his two promises, in which she asked for 14 Years exile for Lord rama and kingship for her son bharata.

Later Dashrath died because he could not bear the pain of getting separated from His son Lord rama.

Lesson: Never take decisions or make promises when you are either very happy, excited or in depressed mental state. No matter how much a person has done for you, your decisions must be taken with utmost care and maturity

2. Kunbhkaran: This man has set an example for coming many generations.. When he was woken up forcefully by soldiers of Ravana, on knowing what his elder brother has done, he straight forwardly rushed to his elder brother Ravana.. There he had an argument with his brother as to what was morally correct and what was not. He even asked Ravana to return Goddess Sita but Ravana was Adamant, and even offered kumbhkaran of leaving ravana alone in the battle ground.

But Kumbhkaran did not back footed at that time, even after knowing Kumbhkaran could never win against Lord Rama, he went into the battle ground and lost his life just to support his brother, his clan.

Lesson: It is better to die gracefully for your family instead of being betrayer to one’s clan like vibhikshana. Even today nobody respects the character of vibhikshana, and people still hold respect for Meghnath and Kumbhkaran.

3.

Hanuman did forget his powers because of the curse of the sages. But when the sages cursed Hanuman, they had also said that whenever anyone would remind Hanuman of his vigour, his powers will come back.

And Jambvant Knowing of this curse to Lord Hanumana took responsibility of reminding him of his powers. Jambvant started saying to Lord hanumana “you are, you are Kesari's son through his wife, oh, frightful pugilist, and you are the lineal son of Air-god, and even by your gusting you are selfsame to Air-god, and even by your flying also you are his selfsame to Air-god, in all respects”.

Jambvant further added that we are as good as dead, and among us presently you are the only one rife with competence and valiance, you are the other Sugreeva, the king of monkeys, to us.

This made Hanumana get his powers again and he could perform all the heroic deeds like lifting a mountain

or after making a leap over sea and putting Lanka on fire

or even fighting like ruthless warrior

Lesson: We all have a Lord Hanuman in us, we just need to realise that or we need someone(Mentor) who can bring out our extraordinary potential, and help us in doing wonders just like the way Lord Hanumana did.

4. Ravana had most powerful people standing for him the battle ground, his army comprised one of the finest warriors like Kumbhkaran, Meghnath, Akshay Kumar, Atikaye etc in his army. Still his army could not defeat an army of apes which had very few powerful warriors Like Lord hanumana, Angad, Sugriva etc

Army of apes of Lord Rama built a bridge on sea which in itself was marvellous piece of architecture at that time.

Army of Apes fought ferociously with Ravana’s excessively powerful warriors, and even killed them mercilessly.

How Did this happen ??

This all could happen due to leadership of lord Rama, who always used to keep his people before him. His leadership made apes to build a bridge over sea, then after entering Lanka, kill all the massively huge and powerful monsters of Ravana.

On battle ground Lord Rama’s motivation speech could convert his injured apes into ruthless beasts who could kill demons within seconds.

Lesson: Role of leader is very important in determining success. If leader is great he can bring the best out of his people, which otherwise is not possible under an arrogant, self centered leader's like Ravana.

Thanks
