double fertilization in plants is a process in whwhicthe male gamete of plants that is Pollen Grain .show two pollen grains enter the ovary and and one male gamete fuses with two polar nuclei and the other one fuses with female gamete .the fusion of male gamete and two polar nuclei is calledtriple fusion .the fertilization of male gamete and female gamete is called syngamy .so as the male gamete is fertilizing twice so this process is known as double fertilization .
