When a pollen grain fuse with two polar nuclei. [Polar nuclei are present in the ovule of ovary.] Then \textbf{Triple fusion} takes place.

And when pollen grain fuse with an egg then formation of Zygote takes place.

Since the fertilization occurs two times, this is known as \textbf{Double Fertilization} in Plants.

Fertilization in Plants is known as the Syngamy.
