No. of boys = Total students - No. of girls

= 48 - 28

= 20

a) no. of boys / total no. of students

= 20 / 48

= 5 / 12 or 5:12

b) no. of girls / no. of boys

= 28 / 20

= 7 / 5 or 7:5

c) total no. of students/ no. of girls

= 48 / 28

= 12 / 7 or 12:7
