Yes, plastic is a boon or curse to the society because they fall in the category of non-biodegradable. They are not decomposed by microorganisms present in the soil.
when plastic is burnt it produces harmful gases and it pollutes our environment.
Too much use of plastic is not good for environment.
Hence, we should not use plastic too much.
