The water is used for metabolic activities, and it is major component of a human cell. We excrete water everyday through urine, stool, respiratory activities , sweat, and also a minute amount by surface evaporation. Some amount of the lost water is replaced by metabolic activities like cellular respiration in mitochondria .but to compensate the remaining ,we should drink water. the amount varies from one to other based on the weight of ones body. That is, divide your weight by 10 and minus 2 from that. The final number is the liters of water u have to drink per day . For example your weight is 60. Divide it by 10 u get 6 minus 2 from it u get 4. Then u need to drink 4 liters per day.
