Dr. A. P. J Abdul kalam did his primary education in Swartz high school, Ramanathapuram. In the year 1950 he did his B. Sc in St. Joseph College, Tiruchirapalli and passed degree course from Madras Institute of Technology in the year 1954-57. In the year 1958 , he was appointed as Senior Scientific Assistant in D. T. D. P ( Aeronautics).
