HEYA MATE,
HERE IS UR ANSWER.
Thanks for asking this question.
One of the chief tasks that pre-dated the struggle was to unite the Indians who by the end of 18th century were divided in every possible way like caste, class, community, religion, sects etc. Though some movements were initiated by others, the complete unification of the backward classes to the struggle was achieved by Ambedkar.
He was able to imbibe the modern western ideas like Rule of Law, Equality before law onto the Indian classes. Here, due respect should also be given to Lord Macaulay for introduction of these ideas in British administration in India.
He spread the ideas of Unity and Equality through his Journals Mukhnayak and Bahishkrita Bharatha. He organised the famous Mahar satyagraha demanding temple entry and usage of common civil amenities for the depressed classes.
He was a brilliant orator and thoroughly impressed British P.M. Ramsay McDonald seeking for separate communal electorates for the Backward classes.
We need to understand that we were liberated by the British rule and not from the problems that existed then. He was also part of the very few individuals who strived for an egalitarian society to fight the evils in the society along with the fight against the British.
The constitution that he gave us is the single most greatest task in Indian history. It stands as a written document of the aspirations and thoughts of the freedom movement.
I HOPE IT HELPS U.
