Given:

A Glass of diameter 3 inches and height 7 inches

To Find:

Volume of glass

Solution:

It is given that,

diameter of glass = 3 inches

=> Radius of glass = 1.5 inches

Also, height of glass = 7 inches

It is clear that Glass is in the shape of cylinder

Now, Volume of glass = πr²h

=> Volume of glass = \frac{22}{7}×(1.5)^{2}×7^{}

=> Volume of glass = 22 × 2.25

=> Volume of glass = 49.5 inch³

=> Volume of glass = 811.15 cm³

Hence, 811.15 ml of water is needed to fill the glass.
