Academy, Patna for study. Afterward, he secured the highest marks in the entrance examination of Calcutta University and he joined Presidency College-Calcutta for further studies. In 1904, he passed F.A from Calcutta University and then he graduated with first class from Presidency College in 1905. Later, he passed M.A in Economics from Calcutta University in 1907.
