Standing before you is Soumi who is going to present a speech for the motion, "Internet, a Boon to the Youth."

    I think the internet is a boon to youth. Internet is a good source of information as it's a web of information spread across websites. Anyone can access all the information through different websites. They can acquire ample knowledge that they need with the help of internet.  

     Young minds are always fresh and curious about the current happenings around them, games, movies and other social activities. They can use the internet to gather all such details. It's a good platform to learn all the skills.  

    Through the internet, it is easy to get connected with people. Family members staying away in different locations can get connected easily through the social media and even make a video call which was a bit difficult a decade ago.

    Internet offers a wide range of job opportunities in different fields. One can make use of it to earn from the home also.

So, I think the Internet is as important as the three basic needs in one's life
