- Masterjee was a traditional carver. He work what he believes in, his faith on tradition was strong. Unlike, his son Gopal was different from him.
- Gopal was habitual in making arguments with his father about the foolishness for not making change in profession for good.
- There was a conflict between them about the way of living their life.
- According to Masterjee, he loved his work and did not want to change his work as he learned this profession from his father who learned from his father. It was since generation.
- Gopal went to Agra and left his old father as he wanted to be a successful man and earn money a lot. So, He wanted to live a good life better than his father Masterjee.
