When an organisation receives funds from the following sources, a credit voucher is created.
- Customers as a percentage of revenue
- Equity capital vs. stockholders
- Sales of Fixed Assets
- Interest earned by debtors, as well as any other funds received by an organisation from a variety of sources.
There are two sorts of vouchers available. Cash Receipt Voucher and Bank Receipt Voucher are two examples.
Example 1: KSRM Ltd. sells 10,000MT of MS Rod to IHL Ltd. for $ 700. In this case, total sales are $ 70,00,000, and the entire amount is paid via A/c Payee Cheque. KSRM's current account number is 586-213, and the total sum is credited to it.
