Hello Rohit!

How are you and how’s the family? In anticipation of all the fun of my cousin’s wedding at Chandigarh, I left behind most of my books and even the notebook at home.

Would you kindly send me by return e-mail the holiday homework given by different teachers and the outline of the Science project we are supposed to complete? I’d be much obliged for your help in the matter as I don’t want to do things hurriedly on getting back to Delhi.

I look forward to hearing from you.

With best wishes,

Rajat  Deshpande

Re: Homework in the school.

Dear Batman,

How are you doing? I hope you are doing well and are in good health. I apologise for the delay in responding; I was swamped with homework and projects.

As you are aware, my midterms are approaching, and I am sick of doing homework. I simply cannot find the time to do some self-study. This goes without saying, but how are the schools in Gotham? Do you have homework? Or are you fortunate?

Anyway, I need to go study. More details when we meet. Look after yourself.

Regards,

Wanda.
