Dear Daddy
It has only been two days since I joined college, but I can already feel the difference between school and college. In school we knew one another, but here I felt lost in a sea of humanity. There are so many students and none that I know. But that was one day earlier. Today familiar faces were smiling at me and in a week's time I think we will have friendships going.
Being a holy city, everyone speaks chaste Hindi and are eager to help. One doesn't feel stranded at any point. The religious mindset gives the city and even our college very positive vibes. You don't necessarily see it, but you can feel it; at least I do!
I think we made the right choice by choosing this college for me. I will write to you when I feel a little settled. Then I will have more to tell you about. In the meanwhile, please take care of yourself and Mumma.
