Given : { (-2, 6) , ( -3 , 7) , (-4 , 8) , ( - 3 ,10)}

To Find : function or not a function

Solution:

Any function  { x , f(x)   }

For a given  x  only only value of f(x) can exist

Here  { (-2, 6) , ( -3 , 7) , (-4 , 8) , ( - 3 ,10)}

for x = - 3  there are two values of f(x) 7  and 10

Hence this is not a function
