In this story there are three characters named johnsy,sue and behrman. johnsy was suffering from pneumonia. she had decided that when the last leaf will fall from the creeper she will die. medicines are also not doing their work. sue try to take help of behrman. behrman was good painter and his dream was to draw a masterpiece. but his dream can't be done successfullly. now on the creeper only one leaf is left. behrman draw that last leaf at night and it was thunderstorm night. behrman draw that last leaf full night and next morning he die . it was like a real masterpiece. and behrman one step saved jhonsy's life.
