Answer:

( 10 / 7 , 29 / 9 )

Step-by-step explanation:

Given :

2 x + y  = 7

Multiply by 2

4 x + 2 y = 14

2 y = 14 - 4 x .... ( i )

3 x - 2 y + 4 = 0

2 y = 3 x + 4  ... ( ii )

From  ( i )  and  ( ii )  we have

14 - 4 x = 3 x + 4

3 x + 4 x = 14 - 4

7 x  = 10

x = 10 / 7    Decimal value 1.429

Now put x = 10 / 7 in ( i )

2 y = 14 - 4 x

y = 7 - 2 x

y = 7 - 20 / 7

y = 49 - 20 / 7

y = 29 / 7   Decimal value  4.143

Now see the graph there is intersection point at ( 10 / 7 , 29 / 9 ).

Thus we get answer.
