Draw a Cartesian graph for these linear equation in two variables
A) x+y = 5
B) 3x+2y= 6

To draw the Cartesian graph, firstly we need to find the solutions for the given equations

A) x + y = 5

Firstly make the equation for y, we get --

y = 5 - x ---- (1)

Now, to find the solutions. We will put certain values of x in eq. (1) and then we will get the value of y corresponding to x.

Note -- Solution is always written in the order of (x,y)
that means that value of x will be at first and value of y will be at 2nd place.

* Firstly, put x = 0 in eq. (1) we get --

y = 5 - 0

y = 5

So, The first solution is (0,5)

* Put x = 1 in eq. (1), we get ---

y = 5 - 1

y = 4

Second solution is (1,4)

* Put x = 2 in the eq. (1), we get ---

y = 5 - 2

y = 3

Third solution is (2,3)

y = 6 - 3(1)

y = 6 - 3

y = 3

Second solution is (1,3)

* put x = 2 in eq. (1), we get --

y = 6 - 3(2)

y = 6 - 6

y = 0

Third solution is (2,0)

In the Attachment, we can see that after joining the points we get a straight line, So when we get a straight line after joining the points of linear equation in 2 variables then it is sure that our solutions are absolutely correct.
