Montmorency was the pet dog of three friends. He was a dog of Fox-Terrier breed . He objected to the idea of going up the river but nobody considered his objection. According to the writer, he was like an angel on earth. He wanted to make the world a better place to live in. He had some friends of his own . He enjoyed interfering in the work of other people. When people threw things at him, he felt really proud . He was not very intelligent. He mistook lemons as rat and killed a few of them .

Montmorency was the dog of three friends. These three friends were Jerome , George , Harris. Montmorency's ambition in life is to interfere with others and be abused.

He wants to be a perfect obstacle and make people mad. If things are thrown at his head and he feel his Day has not been wasted.

To that somebody to stumble over him and cause him sturdily for an hour is his biggest and highest aim and object.

He came and sat on things just when they were going to be packed. He who to his leg in to the jam and worried that is spoons and pretended that lemons virats and got into the hamper and killed three of them.

It is the natural Original Sin that is born in him that makes him to do things like that.
