Draw a circle of diameter 6cm . From a points 8cm away from its centre ,contruct a tangents to a circle.

AP and BP are the required tangents.

STEPS OF CONS.
first draw 3cm circle and then produce that line to 8cm.

draw a perpendicular bisector of 8cm line.

mid point of 8cm line is produced and through this mid point draw another circle.
from the outer point of the circle on 8cm line draw pair of tangents shown in figure
