for drawing the circle of diameter 7cm

u first need to find out the radius i.e,

r = d/2

r = 7/2

r= 3.5

now set ur compass measuring 3.5cm with ur scale, and draw the circle .

hence u got the required circle and the point where u have put the needle of the compass comes to the center.
